Duplex deep groove radial ball bearings with pre-load adjustment locknuts.

X and Y leadnuts feature adjustments for wear compensation and backlash.

True ACME lead screws replace stock lead screws and z axis rack/pinion assembly.

Precision machined 6061 aluminum bearing retainer plates.

The Z axis spindle mount casting requires a slight modification to install the kit. The modification is easily performed with an angle grinder, hacksaw and drill, or by milling machine. The modification is soley to provide clearance for the Z axis lead screw and need not be precise. It involves extending the "slot" that the factory rack gear passes through. If one is completely unable to perform the modification, we can do it for you! Inquire about our modification service.
