New Mini Horizontal 4th Axis

 

A perfect addition to our MF70 CNC or our RTR-842 router.

 

Designed for precision detail rotary applications including:

engraving, wax machining, metal removal, rotary scanning, etc

 

 

The heart of the unit is a pre-loaded anti-backlash worm gear mated with a special worm to provide the utmost in precision rotary motion for the finest details.

 

Other features include a precision 2" 3-jaw chuck with reversible jaws for part mounting, duplex ball bearing supported spindle, a high precision NEMA 17 stepping motor, and a 6061 aluminum housing.

 

With 1/4 microstepping, rotary resolution of .00625 degrees is obtained. That equals 22.5 seconds of resolution. And with the anti-backlash worm gear, repeatability is excellent as well.
